Marko Juhani Paasikoski (born June 10, 1978) is a Finnish musician, known for being the former bassist of Sonata Arctica. Paasikoski was one of the founding members of Tricky Beans, that later changed to Tricky Means and finally to Sonata Arctica. He played guitar on three demos, before leaving the band. He returned to the band (which was now called Sonata Arctica) in 2000, to replace Janne Kivilahti as bassist of the band. The first album on which Paasikoski can be heard is Silence. In 2013 he decided to leave the band for personal reasons. He was replaced by Pasi Kauppinen.

Paasikoski used the Ibanez SR series basses.
